Alex Flanagan
She earned her degree from her school, the University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. She has worked for the NFL Network, as an anchor/reporter. On NBC Sports she is a reporter at the sidelines of some of the Notre Dame Football home matches as well as Football Night in America. Flanagan appears on the Madden 10 or Madden 11 videos, in which she co-hosts a weekly in-game recap show alongside Fran Charles. Alex hails from Sonoita in Arizona. She is married to an ex- University of Arizona basketball player Kevin Flanagan. They have two daughters and a son. Alex's family is the owner of Arizona steakhouses "The Steak Out" (located in Sonoita) and Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her career with KVOA-TV in the year of her undergraduate studies as a reporter and anchor for news. In 1998, she began to cover sports. Her work was with various channels including, NBC Sports, NFL Network, ESPN, and Fox Sports. Also, Flanagan was an active Gamma Phi Beta sister. Her first TV job was working as a Saturday anchor as well as a general assignment reporter for KCCO-TV, Alexandria, Minnesota upon her graduation. This role was held for two years at WSFA-TV Montgomery located in Alabama.
