Emily Swallow

Swallow's career began in Broadway theater where she was a part of a variety of performances. These comprised High Fidelity and King Lear at the Guthrie Theater. Other plays are Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park. Also, off Broadway premieres Romantic Poetry and Measuring for Pleasure. In 2008, Swallow made her film debut in the military drama The Lucky Ones. Swallow was a co-star with Mark Rylance at the Guthrie Theatre in Louis Jenkins' play Nice Fish. She also starred as in Donald Margulies' play The Country House which was staged at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse. Swallow also appeared at Manhattan Theater Club in John Patrick Shanley's Musical Romantic Poetry, which was the first time it was performed in the world. The year was 2010 in recognition of her performance as Kate In The Taming of the Shrew She was awarded The Falstaff Award. Swallow as well as Jac huberman appeared in a Jac N Swallow stage show in New York, at both the Laurie Beeckman Theater & Joe's Pub on the 4th of December on the 4th of December, 2012. The hilarious misadventures center around the two as they face different challenges in life with various degrees of dignity and sanity. The characters are currently being created into a TV series. She worked with Mark Rylance, poet Louis Jenkins and the Guthrie Theater on the premiere of Nice Fish. In the year 2016, Center Theatre Group cast her as Ayad Akhtar and Disgraced. Swallow was the first actress to play a TV role in Guiding Light. She has previously appeared on Southland and Ringer. She played FBI agents Kim Fischer as a leading role on the show The Mentalist. 1-7 She was Amara who was the Darkness in the 11th season of Supernatural. In 2019, she'll take on the role as Armorer as the leader of traditionalist Mandalorians as seen in Star Wars' The Mandalorian. Because the traditionalists never wear helmets anymore, her face is never visible. The character has been increasingly seen in Season 3 because the plot is more focused on the Mandalorian population and not just the Mandalorian Emily Emily Emily
