Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) She is an English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding, a British musician and singer who gained fame in 2010, when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed received a lot of attention from the media. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the forefront of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music as well as independent artistic pop. Her soprano and her talent for writing emotional songs is what makes her unique. The final decision was to sign a major label agreement with Polydor Records and began making arrangements for her debut album.
