Summer glau

Firefly is Whedon his next major TV show that is a huge success. It is likely that she left a lasting impression, because this one episode led to her becoming a star. Summer Glau was very good playing the challenging role of River Tam. Tam, as the character from the film was known, was subjected to research conducted by the government to create her into a perfect assassin. Tam could not control her feelings as a consequence. Glau was able to display her combat abilities as well as her acting abilities on Firefly. It was also evident that being trained to be an assassin enabled Glau to fully use her athletic skills. Summer Glau is a classically educated ballerina. A broken toe was the final straw for her as an actress. Firefly was on only for one season, yet it had a large fanbase. This was so intense that Whedon went back to it just a couple of years after. However, Summer Glau continued to be a star in a variety of shows.
