Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and the former supermodel. Famous for her stunning beauty, her long-standing presence in the demanding film industry shows her skills and talent as an actor. The 1970s were when she began modeling before becoming a well-known figure in the industry. Then, in the mid 1990s she started studying the theatre and acting. In the years following, in Los Angeles and California she had her first appearance on stage. In 1987, Russo played Eden Kendell in the ABC drama Sable. She was Tom Berengers' love interest two years later in Major League, her debut film. The consistency of her performance won the attention of critics who were hesitant about her acting talents. Her performance in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak was a favorite of critics, as she made a statement against Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. However, she confesses to not having a passion for the acting. In 2005, she took a long self-imposed break. Her return came by playing a character in the movie about superheroes Thor. She also starred in her husband's Oscar winning film Nightcrawler. The Intern, and Just Getting Started were humorous comedies in which she starred.
Rose Namajunas is one of the most popular female athletes in the UFC. She started her career as an amateur fighter taking part in numerous regional promotions before signing up with Invicta Fighting Championships and later signing up with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Her success in and out of the Octagon has helped make her the most popular fighter since she entered the UFC. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball while growing up. Her first appearance as a professional at the age of 18 for Invicta Fighting Championships in which she won two bouts by submission. Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, at the age of 22 Rose signed with the UFC's strawweight division. Rose is a fighter who has seen highs and lows in her career, but she always comes out with a victory. In April of 2015, Rose fought Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale which she took by technical knockout in less than three seconds into the first round One - becoming not only champion but receiving the title of Fighter Of The Night along making history in MMA in that this bout was the one of the very first times that female fighter competed for a championship title with a significant promotion organisation in the world . In the aftermath of this victory, Namajunas continued to win victories, including a win over Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC after these wins .
